This video is made with Ultra Fractal 6. It contains 11 layers!! The beautiful depth of this zoom comes from the layering of different images rendered with different settings. It took 3 weeks to render this video.

The last frame of this video is not a mini-Mandelbrot, it would have added weeks to the rendering time. Olbaid’s original image is at 1:40 and it is a mini-Mandelbrot. I just got excited and too things a little further.

这个视频中,对除法进行了另一个角度的解释:

比如

15÷5=3

解释为:

每次从15中拿走5,可以拿走几次直到全部拿掉?

即 15-5-5-5=0,因为拿走了3次全部拿掉,所以15÷5=3 。

如果考虑 1÷0呢?那么就是每次拿走0,变为

1-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-……-0=0 ? 这期间拿走了多少次0呢?视频中认为是无穷次。

后来讨论了1/x,即反比例函数。当x从正反向趋近于0时,分别得到正负无穷大,它们都是合理的,所以1/0无法定义。

 

我的思考:

如果是无穷次,那么就能拿完了吗?显然依然不能拿完,它也不能说是无穷次,而是——无解。
